The Embassy of India in Beirut hosted the ITEC Day reception on Wednesday 12 February 2025 at VOCO Hotel. The event was attended HE Rayane El Ashkar Head of Asia, Africa and Oceania Directorate of Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Emigrants, Brigadier General Fady Abou Haidar at the Ministry of Defense, officials from Ministries, representatives from NGOs, universities, various syndicates, friends from media and ITEC Alumni.
Ambassador of India to Lebanon HE Noor Rahman Sheikh in his speech reiterated India’s commitment to capacity building for Lebanon and encouraged the Lebanese to benefit from the courses offered by the Government of India.
Several ITEC alumni shared the wonderful experiences they had during their ITEC courses in India and how they have implemented their knowledge in the workplace.
All the attendees enjoyed a cultural dance performance followed by Indian cuisine.
