My Trip to Estonia – July 2026
In July 2026, I had the opportunity to travel to Estonia, a beautiful Baltic country in Northern Europe. It was one of the most memorable trips I have ever taken because I experienced a fascinating combination of history, culture, nature, and modern innovation. Although it was the middle of summer, I found the weather much colder than I had expected. The temperatures were cool, especially in the mornings and evenings, and I often needed to wear a jacket. The fresh air and cool breeze made sightseeing comfortable and added to the unique atmosphere of the country.
My journey began in Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia. I was amazed by the city's well-preserved medieval architecture and charming atmosphere. As I walked through the narrow cobblestone streets of the Old Town, I admired the colorful merchant houses, ancient churches, historic towers, and the impressive Town Hall Square. Every street seemed to tell a story about Estonia's rich past. I also visited Toompea Hill, where I enjoyed spectacular views of the city and the Baltic Sea. The blend of centuries-old buildings with modern cafés, shops, and digital technology made Tallinn a truly unique destination.
One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Kadriorg Park, a beautiful green space filled with colorful flowers, large trees, and peaceful walking paths. The magnificent Kadriorg Palace, built in the Baroque style, was surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens that created a calm and relaxing environment. I also explored the nearby art museum, where I learned more about Estonia's artistic heritage and admired both classical and contemporary works of art.
Beyond Tallinn, I discovered Estonia's incredible natural beauty. I visited peaceful forests, crystal-clear lakes, and picturesque coastal areas. The clean environment, fresh air, and quiet surroundings made me feel relaxed and refreshed. Walking along the beaches of the Baltic Sea was particularly memorable because of the cool breeze and calm waters. Even in July, the sea air felt quite cold, giving the landscape a fresh and peaceful atmosphere.
During my stay, I enjoyed tasting traditional Estonian cuisine. I tried freshly baked rye bread, smoked fish, hearty soups, local cheeses, and delicious pastries. I also sampled traditional desserts and local drinks, which allowed me to experience Estonia's unique culinary traditions. The food was simple, fresh, and full of flavor.
Throughout my visit, I learned about Estonia's remarkable history, from its medieval heritage to its struggle for independence and its development into one of the world's most technologically advanced countries. I was impressed by how the country successfully combines respect for its historical traditions with innovation and digital progress.
Overall, my trip to Estonia in July 2026 was an unforgettable experience. Although the weather was much colder than I had expected for summer, the cool climate made exploring the country enjoyable and comfortable. I was impressed by Estonia's beautiful historical landmarks, breathtaking natural scenery, rich culture, delicious food, friendly people, and innovative spirit. This journey broadened my understanding of Estonian history and culture and gave me wonderful memories that I will treasure for many years.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to H.E. Fouad Fadel, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Estonia in Lebanon, for his outstanding dedication to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Estonia and Lebanon. It was a great honor to welcome him previously as a guest on my television show. His encouragement and exemplary service inspired my interest in visiting Estonia, making this unforgettable journey even more meaningful. I extend my heartfelt thanks and best wishes for his continued success in his distinguished mission.
